GTR3 is a comprehensive amp and effects simulator with 30 guitar and 7 bass amps, virtual cabinets and 25 stompbox effects.

Alongside favourite vintage amps, GTR3 includes cutting-edge modern amps, among them custom models from Paul Reed Smith and Neil Citron, ranging from pristine clean to warm overdrive and scorching high gain, while the bass amps cover everything from solid-state clean to hard rock growl. As in the studio, you can mic 16 guitar and 6 bass cabinets virtually with 12 options, stack two amps or cabs in series or parallel, and bypass the virtual cab to feed a physical cabinet. The 25 stompboxes, derived from Waves’ studio processors, include distortion, compressor, chorus, delay, reverb, wah, octave divider and pitch bender among others, complemented by MIDI Learn, tap tempo and tempo sync.
