JJP Bass is a bass processor for DI, synth and amplified bass, created with Grammy-winning producer and engineer Jack Joseph Puig.

Rather than variations on a specific bass tone, it is about finding the right bass colour for any musical context – whether hip-hop, EDM, rock or jazz. One click optimises the effects for direct, synth or amplified bass, and several parallel processors enhance the instrument’s core character instead of masking it. Sub pushes the low end, Presence helps the bass cut through cluttered mixes, Width spreads it into stereo, Attack shapes the initial transient, Edge adds a hint of growl and Decay lengthens the note, while compression and low/high EQ anchor the foundation. Jack Joseph Puig has worked with John Mayer, U2, Lady Gaga and the Rolling Stones, among others.
