Created with 10-time Grammy winner Manny Marroquin (Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West, Lizzo, Future), it makes digital synths less sterile, adds grit to bass amps, beefs up drums and makes single-coil pickups sound less thin. A pre-distortion compressor shapes the dynamics, four EQ stages focus on the frequencies to be saturated, and attack and release determine how quickly the distortion develops and whether it lingers with note tails. With subtle settings it even makes vocals punch more than a limiter – the ideal fix when sounds are just too clean.
