The usual technique of fixing boxy, sibilant or harsh vocals with EQ also removes those frequencies when there’s no problem at all. Developed by 10x Grammy-winning mix engineer Manny Marroquin (Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West, Lizzo, Future), Triple D is based on dynamic EQ that acts only when issues are present and otherwise leaves the voice’s natural character alone. Three independent stages, each with threshold, frequency trim, listen and bypass buttons and an attenuation meter, make tweaking easy. Triple D is ideal for vocals as well as podcasts and voiceover.
