OneKnob Driver puts the character of several overdrive pedals into a single knob – from subtle crunch to brutal distortion.

There is a lot going on behind this deceptively simple knob: as you turn it up, distortion goes from nothing to 2nd and 3rd harmonic distortion and finally to heavy 3rd harmonic distortion, moving from an analogue to a digital sound at higher settings. Meanwhile, EQ tracks the crunch to boost just the right frequencies, with level, EQ and saturation optimised to work together. And overdrive is not only for guitars – OneKnob Driver is a favourite on kick, bass, vocals and aux channels too.
