Z-Noise removes hiss, hum and other unwanted noise from music recordings and masters while preserving the audio’s sonic integrity.

The broadband plugin builds a noise profile in real time – even if no section of pure noise can be isolated – and its Adaptive mode follows noise that changes over time. Transient preservation with pre-emphasis and de-emphasis prevents smearing, while increased low-frequency resolution retains dynamics and bass accuracy. A 5-band EQ lets you shape the noise profile precisely, and you can monitor just what is being removed – ideal for mic preamp hiss, hum, computer noise or guitar noise before high-gain amps.
