W43 removes hiss, hum, traffic noise or wind from dialogue tracks and is designed especially for video post-production.

The plugin emulates an industry-standard hardware system based on analogue noise reduction, known for its benign, clean and efficient operation. Four dynamic EQ engines increase attenuation in bands as they become quieter, leaving louder sounds unaffected. Without the warbly artefacts sometimes found in broadband noise reduction, W43 is optimised for continuous noise from fans, lighting and other low-level ambient sounds.

Features

• Four frequency bands reduce noise selectively
• Easy editing: set the threshold, then lower the sliders
• Natural, unobtrusive noise reduction without artefacts
• Zero latency maintains perfect picture sync
• Also cleans up on-location recordings of sound effects
