IR1 transports your tracks to world-class acoustic spaces with over 2,000 impulse responses – and edits as easily as an algorithmic reverb.

From the Sydney Opera House, the Grand Ole Opry and Wembley Stadium to a stairwell, a church, a car interior or the Todd-AO scoring stage, the impulses were recorded with premium gear, often with different seating positions and microphone polar patterns. Familiar parameters such as RT60 decay time, size, density, ER buildup and a four-band damping EQ make editing easy. The envelope shaper allows non-linear responses including gated effects, and Reverse mode reverses only the tail, retaining the intelligibility of vocals and instrument attacks. Direct sound, early reflections and tail each have their own gain and predelay, and the included sweep file lets you create your own impulses or import third-party WAV impulses.
