Based on the acclaimed IR1 convolution engine, IR360 captures spaces as realistically as a photograph, including world-famous venues such as the Ryman Auditorium, Wembley Stadium and the Apollo Theater, some with different seating positions and microphone polar patterns. In post-production you can match the sound to your field recordings by capturing an impulse of the acoustic environment and loading it into IR360, and third-party impulses or WAV files can be imported as well. Flexible editing, from trimming the impulse start and end to shaping the decay and setting gain and predelay separately for early reflections and tail, also makes IR360 a tool for imaginative sound design.
