Authorised by Solid State Logic, SSL EV2 is a brand-new, component-by-component recreation of the legendary SSL 4000E console channel strip.

Using Waves’ Precision Analog Component technology, SSL EV2 was modelled component by component from a meticulously maintained reference console selected by SSL. Choose between the gritty ‘O2’ Brown Knob EQ and the clean ‘242’ Black Knob EQ, and use the rich saturation of the mic and line preamps, which the Analog switch engages or bypasses. The dynamics section, with a soft-knee compressor/limiter and gate/expander, can be placed before, after or between EQ and filters, and over 600 presets by Grammy-winning engineers such as Dave Pensado and Tony Maserati get you started quickly.
