Tony Maserati’s multi-effect chain keeps acoustic guitars focused and energetic, even in dense mixes.

The Grammy-winning mix engineer (Beyoncé, Jason Mraz, David Bowie) created two chains: ACG 1 maximises level and sculpts the top and bottom, while ACG 2 has more built-in compression to bring out the subtleties of a live performance. Punch, Mid and Hi EQ, reverb with pre-delay and Excite then shape the sound further – Punch helps the guitar cut through crowded mixes, Excite adds shimmer and emphasises strums. Separate modes for insert or send use and 42 presets in multiple styles make the job easy.
