V-Comp is modelled on the classic 2254 bus processor and delivers the rich, transformer-coloured sound of 70s analogue consoles.

The compressor models the time constants and fixed nominal output gain of the 2254, while the modelling of three transformers creates extra low-frequency harmonics when saturated. Drive the input for more compression, choose the ratio and auto or fixed release, and a dedicated limiter section with threshold, attack and release tames bass, drums and complete buses. Even with no compression, V-Comp adds analogue warmth, and the analogue switch offers three flavours of noise.
