X-Noise removes tape hiss as well as air conditioner and computer noise from individual tracks, complete mixes or damaged recordings.

Whether it is preamp hiss on a vocal, room rumble on a ribbon mic or computer noise magnified by high-gain amp sims, X-Noise can save you from having to re-record a track. Isolate a section containing only the noise, click Learn, and the plugin subtracts this noiseprint wherever it appears in the audio. Fine-tuning uses familiar, dynamics processor-like controls such as Threshold, Reduction, Attack and Release, supported by a spectral display, a high-shelf filter, two storable noise profiles and a Difference mode that lets you hear only what is removed; when the noise cannot be isolated, 13 factory presets help out.
