L4 Ultramaximizer is an adaptive limiter designed for modern music, delivering competitive streaming levels along with more low end, transient punch and life.

Where L1 and L2 stood for loudness in the 90s and 2000s, L4 focuses on musicality: five limiting algorithms – Modern, Aggressive, Smooth, Safe and the classic L2 sound – suit whatever you are working on. The plugin sets Clipping and Release according to your material, and you control their relative level. Upward compression inspired by the MV2 brings quieter passages forward and adds density, while LUFS metering and True Peak limiting prepare your songs for streaming services.
