Bass Slapper is a sample-based instrument designed for the authentic sound and feel of slap bass.

3,700 multisamples with round-robin note assignments and articulations nail the 70s slap sound that players like Larry Graham and Bootsy Collins used to power funk, disco and pop. Choose a warm old-school or a bright modern tone, and even select the neck position where notes are played, because the same note sounds different at different positions. Every note sustains naturally, with no looped samples.

Features

• Full 5-string articulation: thumbing, popping, mutes and more
• 11 playing positions with automatic string switching
• Five legato modes, including “always” and “off”
• Preamp effects: compressor, phaser, overdrive, triggered wah and chorus
• Four amp sim and cabinet options, plus tempo-synced delay and reverb
• Adjustable velocity curve and number of velocity layers
