Waves Clavinet captures the instantly recognisable, funky sound of the D6 clavinet – and, most importantly, its feel.

With its gritty, twangy sound, the D6 clavinet cast its spell on musicians from Stevie Wonder and Herbie Hancock to the Rolling Stones. Every texture, articulation and hammer strike was multi-sampled in both muted and unmuted modes, and the exceptionally responsive velocity control captures the instrument’s percussive nature. An amp simulator with a choice of mics, effects such as phase, chorus, reverb and an envelope-follower autowah, plus EQ, compression and limiting deliver a mix-ready sound.
