Flow Motion makes FM synthesis playful and easy – with a graphic modulation matrix, analog-style features and over 1,000 presets.

FM synths like the Yamaha DX7 defined the 80s with bell, string, brass and bass sounds and remain popular with artists such as Skrillex and Kavinsky. In Flow Motion you connect the four oscillators, each with independent waveform control, by drag and drop in the graphic matrix and get instant visual feedback. Analog favourites such as 4-voice unison with detune and spread, “mini” or “obie” type filter curves, portamento and four modulators working as ADSR envelopes or LFOs widen the palette. Effects from drive to bit crusher to reverb, a 16-step snapshot sequencer and arpeggiator, and over 1,000 presets from artists including Richard Devine and Juno Reactor complete the instrument.
