At the heart of FilterCult is FLT-TL22, an accurate simulation of a transistor ladder analogue filter that preserves the original circuit topology, behaviour and quirks. Experimental circuit bends such as a feedback path with delay, transistor and tube saturation before and after the filter, a pole selector and a high-pass mode considerably expand its possibilities. The PRM-EM44 unit handles input routing and output mixing, while MOD-XG01 modulates cutoff and resonance with an envelope generator, a tempo-synced LFO and a noise generator. Whether as a gentle filter in a channel strip, as a master effect or for wild alterations, especially on drums, FilterCult has a very light CPU footprint.
