A physically modelled hybrid synthesizer built from 1970s and 1980s telecommunications components, using deliberately generated aliasing as its sound source.

RawPrime uses modelled numerically controlled oscillators (NCOs) and digital-to-analogue converters from late-1970s and early-1980s telecommunications hardware, arranged so that the overtones come exclusively from the aliasing of this imperfect technology. This raw material is shaped by an expressive, resonant 2-pole diode ladder low-pass filter with an uncommon design, complemented by a high-pass filter, three analogue envelope generators, two LFOs and a full modulation matrix. Two effect slots and a multi-mode arpeggiator make RawPrime a performance synthesizer for stage and studio: a vintage synth from a past that never was.
