A specialised plug-in that recreates the charm of lo-fi music through random, analogue-modelled volume modulations reminiscent of cassettes.

LoFi Drifter captures the essence of vintage media such as cassettes by generating the random volume movements that are essential to the lo-fi aesthetic. Three movement generators with their own modes, Ripple, Drift and Dropout, create different patterns ranging from subtle atmospheric nuances to prominent, warped lo-fi effects. An advanced stereo algorithm provides expansive movement in Drift and Ripple, analogue-modelled noise adapts to the signal in real time, and an oscilloscope visualises the tape movement.
