A classic tape stop and tape start effect that recreates the pitch behaviour of an analogue tape player when starting up or stopping.

Tapestop uses Yum Audio’s virtual tape circuits to recreate the pitch behaviour and instabilities of an analogue tape player starting up or stopping, as accurate or as lo-fi as you like. Dust for noise and artefacts, Flux for fluctuating pitch warble and Muffle for tonal shaping, together with fully customisable start and stop times of up to 9999 ms, give you full control. The plug-in can optionally run in sync with your session tempo, and starts and stops can be triggered by automation at any time.
