A lo-fi effect that adds the slips, stalls and worn patches of real playback to clean, identical digital loops.

Digital production makes every repeat clean, stable and identical, and Pitch Dropout 2 brings back the imperfections that make playback feel alive. Not every dropout has to bend the tuning: the same movement can add noise, darken the tone or destabilise the stereo image, while Warble keeps the tape gently moving between events. Dropouts can happen randomly, governed by the Chance control, or exactly on cue, ranging from barely noticeable tape wear to complete playback failure, in Analog, Tape, Vinyl and Digital flavours. The plug-in pairs with Drifter, Flux Machine, Tapestop and Playtime from the LoFi series.
