Hertz Drums 2 combines a fully customisable virtual drum kit, a sampler and a MIDI groove player in one application that needs no additional software such as Kontakt. The 12 kits were mixed ready for use by the engineers at Hertz Studio; the library comprises 6 kick drums, 6 snare drums, 9 toms, 3 hi-hats, 6 crashes, 3 rides and 3 chinas, each with a choice of several microphones. A humanisation algorithm varies pitch, volume and velocity, joined by 12 hi-hat articulations, 7 snare articulations played with the left and right hand and adjustable choke length for every cymbal. The sampler integrates your own one-shots or multi-track samples with up to 6 dynamic layers, the 1,560 grooves can be dragged straight into the DAW, and drum maps for e-drums and other libraries plus one-click multi-output routing simplify integration.
