MB3X is a plug-in emulation of a multiband mastering compressor built by Rocksonics Professional Audio in the mid-1990s, combining compression, limiting and saturation in one plug-in with a few extras available only in the plug-in. Multiple layers of programme-dependent RMS level detectors deliver smooth, low-distortion and musical results while keeping set-up very simple....

SideMinder ME2 is the advanced mastering version of SideMinder that widens and controls the stereo image in up to three bands while keeping it mono compatible. Up to three independent bands of stereo width control, a Bass Narrow control and an “Advanced” section for fine-tuning the width limiter give precise control, while selectable input or output correlation metering plus...

True Mid/Side extracts the true phantom centre and the true stereo side signals from a stereo mix so that you can control the left, centre and right channels completely independently. Traditional mid/side is really sum-and-difference processing: signals panned hard left or right appear in both the mid and side outputs, and the side output is a mono mix of both sides. True...

Limited-S is a high-quality de-esser, enhancer and harshness controller for mixing and mastering that tames sibilance in an ultra-smooth, transparent way. Instead of a traditional and often “slurpy” compressor-type attack/decay detector, an FIR filter calculates the exact envelope of the signal at all times, so there is no need to fuss with attack and decay settings, and...

Pristine Peaks IE is the version of the ultra-low distortion Pristine Peaks limiter optimized for multichannel surround and immersive audio, handling up to 12 channels. This streamlined edition, enhanced for multichannel work, supports tracks and buses from mono up to 7.1.4; each channel can be trimmed by ±5 dB before the limiter, and its peaks can be set up to 10 dB below...

DRP2a mkII is a plug-in emulation of a stereo dynamic range processor built by Rocksonics Professional Audio in the mid-1990s – a versatile compressor, expander and gate with a few extras available only in the plug-in. Like a Swiss Army knife for dynamics, DRP2a mkII handles compression, expansion, noise gating, limiting, clipping, de-essing, ducking, pumping and more....

SubMassive generates low frequencies that do not exist in the source material, adding weight to kicks, bass, vocals and whole mixes – because you can’t EQ what isn’t there. Just as harmonic exciters generate high end for sounds that lack it, SubMassive synthesizes low frequencies an octave below the source using a high-quality pitch-shift algorithm optimized for the low end....

Hot Sauce is a non-linear gain processing plug-in that adds harmonics to a signal while reducing peaks, similar to tape saturation or push-pull power amplifiers. In Saturator mode, Hot Sauce applies smooth waveform compression that adds odd-order harmonic distortion, while Exciter mode adds odd-order harmonics without compressing the waveform for a brighter, more “excited”...

dB Smooth is a dynamics processor for ultra-smooth compression and expansion whose level detectors are based on FIR filters rather than traditional analogue-style detectors. The FIR detectors are very precise and exactly surround the current audio sample, producing a uniquely smooth sound at every setting. A special “unity gain threshold”, with boost and cut applied above...

SideMinder 2 is the second generation of the dynamic stereo width enhancer that widens tracks, buses and the master mix without risking polarity inversion and the resulting cancellation in mono. Wide stereo mixes can fall apart in mono when out-of-phase content cancels – and many stereo enhancers make this worse, which shows up as negative correlation. SideMinder 2 “listens”...

Advancer does the opposite of a delay, using your DAW’s latency compensation to shift tracks forward in time by up to 50 ms relative to the other tracks. This lets you time-align distant microphones, correct skewed left and right tracks to bring the centre back to the centre, and brighten audio with frequency-dependent forward shifts. Creatively, you can produce ghost notes...

Pristine Peaks is an ultra-low distortion mono and stereo peak limiter for mixing and mastering whenever the utmost transparency in peak control is required. Instead of saturating or clipping waveform peaks, Pristine Peaks determines what needs to be done to control them and applies that gain change to the entire waveform. The result is a very clean sound that does not break...
